Meet Tiffany Amber Stockton

Hi, I'm Tiffany, but I've also been called Amber (my middle name), because I published my earlier books by that name. I am in my mid-40's, married to the love of my life since July 2007, have a daughter and a son, and live in Kentucky. Here is where I do what I love—write, speak, homeschool, advocate for literacy and encourage personal development, helping others be their best from the inside out.

My Wedding Fairytale
Our First Baby Announcement

Thanks to the gentle nudging of a fellow author -- Tracie Peterson -- in early 2002, I joined American Christian Fiction Writers and wouldn't be published today without them. For those of you who are also fiction writers looking for a wonderful support group, check them out! My very first book, Promises, Promises, sold in September 2006 and released in February 2008. I've been going steady ever since. Visit my books page for further details.

Why Inspirational?

Though I closed the doors in 2014 on my 15-year service in the graphic and web design industry, it blessed me tremendously and taught me so much. I got involved with it in 1997, when I was asked to take over running the official web site for the television series Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman. That eventually led to being offered the job of running world-renowned actress Jane Seymour's official fan site. That branched into doing web sites for a variety of clients, including over 20 authors and many others through Eagle Designs. That business has since transitioned into Eagle Enterprises, where my husband and I minister to others through our written words, speaking, and our service in a variety of venues.

image: Roxie, border collie and flat-haired retrieverI've included a photo of our first canine family member. Roxie was born July 4, 2007. She was a flat-coat retriever mix and joined our family in October 2007. We unfortunately had to say goodbye to her on February 19th, 2018 due to cancer, and we still miss her dearly. Since then, we have rescued or fostered eleven other furry family members and allowed six of them to bless other families while having five felines remain with us, one of which passed away in 2021, leaving us with the four we currently have: Ziggy, Angel, Callie, and Umbra.

I love to hear from those who visit this site. You can leave your email message through the Contact page and also sign up for my quarterly newsletter there. Thanks for stopping by!

A Woman After God's Heart

'A woman's heart should be so hidden in Christ that a man should have to seek Him first to find her.'

When I say that 'I am a Christ-follower', I am not shouting that 'I am clean living.
I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'

When I say 'I am a Christ-follower' I don't speak of this with pride.
I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.

When I say 'I am a Christ-follower' I'm not trying to be strong.
I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.

When I say 'I am a Christ-follower' I'm not bragging of success.
I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.

When I say 'I am a Christ-follower' I'm not claiming to be perfect.
My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.

When I say 'I am a Christ-follower' I still feel the sting of pain.
I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.

When I say 'I am a Christ-follower' I'm not holier than thou,
I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!
